helped 15 out of 66 (in fact 14 out of 26 patients had more than 10 sessions, and only 37 of 66 completed 1st course!! of these, only 1 responded during 1st course (best not to assess till after 2nd course)
Additional notes
only ‘nerve deafness’ responds to acupuncture, and only if nedrve supply not totally destroyed; even when response to sound achieved, it takes a long time to achieve normal hearing; to a dumb person who was deaf, any newly aquired sound will be meaningless, and practitioner has another problem to solve
